We take it for granted sometimes. The smiles on their faces. The sparkle of wonder in their eyes. But at the end of the day, they're everything we fight for. Everything we live for.
Our kids…the source of our greatest strength and our greatest weakness.
Brothers. Each with their own voice. Like a mirror separated into three pieces, no matter where life takes them, they will always be a reflection of one another.
If there's one thing I've learned from photographing families over the years (especially now that I'm starting one of my own), is that life happens way too fast. Our babies become toddlers, our toddlers become students, our students become adults and eventually become parents themselves. When that cycle resets itself, I hope these or any photograph can serve as a reminder of the things our kids will fight for. Everything they will live for.
*Wanted to thank Rocket Science Photography for riding shotgun with me on this shoot. Always a pleasure collaborating with you brother. I especially want to thank the Ruperto family for allowing us to spend some time with you during your vacation and snap a few photographs along the way.
